Quality and Standards
Raw material (timber) is sourced and harvested from commercial, sustainably grown timber plantations from within our group, private growers, and other forestry institutions that comply with Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).
The poles are prepared and treated in accordance with SANS 754, SANS 457-3, SANS 1288 permit conditions.
Low’s Creek Treated Timber complies with ISO 9 001: 2 008 requirement and has commenced with the process to ensure compliance with ISO 14 000.

Management, through execution of their duties, ensures all employees conduct their operations and activities in a manner that will limit the negative impact on the ecological environment.
- Regulatory statutes
Stakeholders perform their operations and activities in accordance with relevant statutes and governing stipulations, and plantations are forested with utmost adherence to regulatory processes and stipulations. We continuously strive to abide by the principles of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), in our quest to ensure sustainable farming practices are adhered to at all times.
Special care is taken to protect and maintain the natural Fauna and Flora prevalent on the non-plantation areas of our farms. The requirements stipulated by conservation bodies and institutions are incorporated in our management plan to ensure the preservation and prosperity of endangered species.
